About Us

We started NZ Boot Room all the way back in 2019 when we were still in high school - just two mates obsessed with football boots. At the time, it was tough for Kiwi players to get their hands on good boots, whether they were brand new or rare classics. We saw players all over New Zealand (and beyond) searching for pairs they couldn’t find in stores, so we decided to change that...

 

 

hat started as a small Instagram page selling both brand new and pre-loved boots quickly turned into something bigger, a way to connect footballers with the boots they want, without the crazy prices or overseas shipping hassles.

 

We care about doing things the right way, too. That means using 100% eco-friendly packaging, and donating 1% of our profits to a charity chosen by our community every six months. Over the years, we’ve also given away more than $5,000 worth of boots and gear as our way of saying thanks for the support.

 

Along the way, we also launched GripOnz - our own football accessories brand. It began with premium grip socks built for performance, comfort, and stability, and has since expanded into a range of football products designed to help players get the most out of their game. From training essentials to match-day must-haves, GripOnz is about giving players quality gear they can trust.

These days, we’re based solely in Auckland after Ben finished his degree in Otago. Ben now works full time, Alex is growing his rubbish removal business, and life is busy - but our mission hasn’t changed: delivering rare and affordable boots that will carry you through rain and shine, big goals, tough tackles, and the moments on the pitch you’ll never forget.
